The guest area will show as a blank space when the guest is unknown. Until the RSVP has been accept so the system knows that the guests have been authorised by yourselves they won't be shown a personalised guest area.
If guests use Guest List Group passwords to RSVP the system can identify which events they are RSVPing to but not specifically who the guest is in order to personalise the guest area. The guests who use a password to RSVP won't have full access to the guest area until you have accepted their RSVP and saved them to your guest list with their submitted information (via the blue notification bar at the top of you guest list).
You can then send the guests an email link to the guest area where they will be shown full details of the event/s as well as any gifting/hotel/additional information.
